Fish and Rivers

Life Below Water: Saving river fish habitats

Positive change with small meaningful steps

Pollution

Trash and other debris dumped into rivers, constricts its natural flow. Which causes flooding in some areas, and limited water supply in others. Hurting both the river fish as well as other animals and people.

Contaminates

Oil, paint, soap and other contaminates dumped into sewer drains flow down into rivers. Making our fresh water supply unsafe for fish, animals, drinking, cooking, swimming and other activities.

Low water levels

Water overuse lower fresh water levels. Combined with lack of trees and other shade, this creates a hazardous condition for fish to survive.
